Why C-Span Cut From Basic Cable Ch?

During spring break I just assumed since Congress was not in session, therefore nothing on C Span channel. Today I checked again and Christian TV is there! We only have basic cable and that was the only channel for live government coverage. (other than fox today on Benghazi) Millions are without now
