Coal Trains - Export Coal To China

Pres Obama: I am writing to you to ask for help. Oregonians do not want 60 coal trains per day racing through our magnificent Columbia River Gorge and thru our small towns to OR and WA ports to export coal to China. This exacerbates climate change. PLS STOP this certain environmental disaster.

The news media is covering the record high temperatures in the mid-west /eastern US, but there is no mention of climate change/global warming and CO2 emissions. Without recognition of the cause of high temps, no action will ever be taken to ameliorate what is rapidly becoming a serious problem.

Penalty Not A Tax

It needs to be carefully explained to the public that the so-called "tax" (penalty) in the AHCA would apply to an infinitesimal % of people who can afford health ins but refuse to buy it and then need care in the ER. Repubs are trying to make it sound like EVERYONE would be taxed (wrong!).

When I saw that the Transportaion Bill,Student Loan Rates voted NOT to go up AND a Flood Insurance Bill pass on the same day,my heart stopped & my implanted defibrillator went off.At least I know now that it works & that you sometimes work.I thought I'd never say this,but good job!

I 've been unemployed for over 24 months. Four years ago I had a job w/ benefits. My unemployment expired in April. My COBRA expired @ 18 months, Paid $369 per mo, now have private insurance @ 399 mo. House foreclosed, to be sold 7/11. The presidents job would solve my problems. Write in for ME!
