Representative Bachmann: I participated in the put down of an uprising in the Dominican Republic in 1961. The USS Boxer was loaded with a battalion of Marines and a helicopter squadron. We steamed to the Dominican and the uprising ceased without a landing. A show of force is very effective!

Recent Federal Pay Raise Approved

Dear Senator...I applaud you for raising a bill to rescind the recent pay raise given to Federal employees that was approved by President Obama. I am so glad that someone in Congress has the courage and common sense to recognize that the pay raise was hypocritical and needs to be rescinded. Thanks
