Let It Go

Slavery Reference

After the Civil War, the Jim Crow Laws were used to re-enslave blacks. Whites know nothing of these horrors but slave descendants should. Golden handcuffs, Jim Crow laws, crushing tax code and increasing financial dependency on government are all leading to enslaving the unaware citizenry.

Taxes

Why not impose large taxes on luxury items, tobacco and liquor, and gasoline? The remaining tax would be a federal sales tax on all non-food and non-housing items. No more IRS where a major tax proportion goes to collection. No more rich vs. poor divisiveness. Computers balance budget with tax rate.

Clinton’s Economy

Not only did Bill Clinton benefit from the ‘Dot.com’ boom, he also benefitted from the balanced budget the new Republican Finance Committee presented him (which he vetoed twice before signing because of the Triangulation Strategy- under duress from the Democrats) and the expanding computer industry.

Bill To Repeal 22nd Amendment

Thanks for your information, Mr. Cain. However, I read that Rep. Jose Serrano (D-NY) has introduced and re-introduced this bill at least 7 times since the late '90's. It seems he just wants the Amendment repealed, regardless of who is President at the time. That makes this a lot less frightening.

YOU FAILED YOUR OWN TEACHINGS

Today U had a caller on who promoted a march on Washington bearing guns. U poo-pooed it stating DC has a law prohibiting guns. Isn't that contrary to the 2nd amendment? Would not a million man-we the people- change history? Does my crossing a river change my constitutional right to KEEP & BEAR arms?

Herman, I wanted you at 1600 Pa. Ave., but at least we've got you. As you know, if America is to survive, we MUST remove obama. Impeachment is the only way. Please put focus on Benghazi, and unconstitutional E.O's to accomplish this.

Third Party

A conservative 3rd party would only serve to split the conservative vote giving the Democrats the advantage. Only with a constitutional amendment prescribing a run-off election between the top two vote getters if no one receives at least 50% of the vote would a conservative 3rd party be wise.

Tri Care Coverage Costs

My husband spent 26 1/2 years in the military and has served this country proudly. I understand that our annual cost for our coverage is going to more than triple etc. I want to know what we as the retired and active duty military do about this? I have not heard this being discussed. Help
