Recall
I am very sorry to hear about a possible recall and feel this is very unfair. I understand that these politicians do not want to lose their union donations. I would like to know if there is anything that can be done about this recall effort.

Unions
I worked in a unionized facility as well as a nonunionized facility. There really was no difference in conditions, except the non union supported bad behavior. We had more bad behavior at the unionized facility.

Support
You are doing what is best for our state and for our services during this time when people are barely hanging on to their homes and can hardly fill their tank. The longest coll. bargaining for Milwaukee teachers lasted three years. That has to cost.

Stand Firm!
So many people I know are behind you and I am so happy to read all the positive comments in favor of your stand. Maybe Obama can learn something from you or then again, maybe not---sad for all of us hardworking people living on the edge!

Stand Firm!
Govenor Walker please stand firm. DO NOT let them get to you. What you are doing is 100% correct. We all need to tighten our belts right now for the good of "all"! These people are being selfish and short-sighted. Hang tough!!!

Budget / Unions
I find it difficult to fathom and sad the reported 61% poll opposed to your union stance. The issue and fact is that union leadership is usurping the power and authority of our own elected officials. For all of us, please don't give up.

Education
There are 100's of us--retired teachers willing to come to Wisconsin to reopen schools and teach until current crisis is past. Just let us know...send out an appeal and we'll be there. Request protection, retired law officers will come, also.

We must stop the spending now! As a retired public worker for nowentering my 16th year I am wlling to give up a percentage of my pension to help make things work. We all should pitch in,retirees and current workers, so the system doesn't implode.

Spoofing Is Everywhere! Be Careful!
People wonder why sites like Fastnote require anonymous comments. Too many people pretend to be others on the internet. It's even true on the telephone, I guess. I can't believe a blogger would pose as David Koch - a new low even for politics!

Budget / Unions
While you are trying to balance the budget, try stopping the waste of time and money by the DNR. Five year more than 40 million dollar and counting.

Corporate Communism
Not unusual to think Gov. Walker is skillfully playing the role of corporate communism. His slogan appears to be: "To hell with Democracy. The authoritarian way is the only way." And the powerful corporations love him. No bid contracts. Great for him

What A Liar!
I think Walker and his crooked DOA are posting notes to themselves below. 56% of WI does not agree with you!! And if you have 8,000 e-mails of supporters, why did you not respond to the media's request for the e-mails? You are crooked..

Missing Senators
I grew up in Wisconsin and I care about what happens to us. I am very disappointed that these Democratic Senators have run away from home while snubbing their noses at our Wisconsin Democratic process. It seems like an assault on democracy.

Missing Senators/union Dollars
Article in the Journal Sentinel online. Feb. 28, 2011 12:20 p.m. Titled: "Missing senators rely heavily on union campaign dollars." Check it out. Is this why they are staying away and disrupting the Democratic process? Is this legalized theft?

Better For The Kids
I am a member of the AFt. I know the pros and cons of the union. I am in favor of our Governor's proposal. The unions have too much power and create inflexible conditions. Education and services will strengthen when union power weakens.

Lying? I Doubt It.
It doesn't matter if the governor did not run on a platform to curb collective bargaining. We can't assume that was on his mind at the time. Did anyone ask him about it? He did run on a platform of fixing the economic mess we have.
