Adjunct Hiring And Pay

Dear Dr. Biden, As a community college administrator, I am concerned about the widespread practice of using adjunct faculty to contain costs. They often work at multiple colleges for low wages and with no paid health insurance. This practice is inhumane, unjust, and unsustainable. What can be done?

Free 2yrCommunity College Education

As a degreed professional who has taught (Adjunct Math) at the Community College level, I am hopeful as to how the plan will unfold for students in a 12+2 program. Also, I'd like to see plans to balance hiring of new Adjuncts & full-time faculty.

The English Language

I am glad my 12th grade English teacher is gone. I am so disappointed at the "dumbing down" of our language. TV reporters cannot match subjects and predicates..."none of the injuries"..WAS..not "were" "group of girls" IS, not ARE I am so tired of "you guys" and "no problem" HELP!
