I was a teacher, just retired. I paid into soc. sec., paid part of my health care & most of my retirement--- & my pension would not be enough to live on. It isn't right to make the taxpayers pay for that! And what's up with that illegal walkout?

I support you making positive changes here in WI. It must be hard for those who are state employed that now have to start paying for their health insurance, etc. but for those of who have always had to pay it seems to be only fair. Fair is fair!

Dear Gov: When you asked public employees to contribute more to their benefit package, I hope district or circuit Judges are included! I think the police and fireman should also be included. Risking their life is in the job description!

Education

All teachers are not underpaid, some are overpaid. Liberal teachers are preaching their own ideals and opinions, instead of just teaching. Teaching priorities are woefully misguided, values and common-sense lost, parents trying to make up the diff.

Governor Walker, I agee with your action to date. I have a question. Why do we need over 100,000 teachers when we only have less than 890,000 kids in public schools. That's a ratiio of less than 9 to 1. Why do we need all those teachers?

Paying The Bill

I also believe the individuals who are trying to recall the governor should be paying for the cost of the voting. Individuals who are doing this are individuals who have been getting what they want for years. Tax payers are finally tired of paying.
