We must stop the spending now! As a retired public worker for nowentering my 16th year I am wlling to give up a percentage of my pension to help make things work. We all should pitch in,retirees and current workers, so the system doesn't implode.

Unions --- Good And Bad

There was a time in the history of our country where unions served a useful purpose. Today, the US has less than 5 % of the world's population but 75 % of the world's lawyers. Who needs unions anymore?

you are such a breath of fresh air! I'm a president and CEO of a steelworker organized manufacturing business and we've been profitable for 14 of the last 15 years-because we know how to say NO to union demands. Stay the course!!!!

Education

There are 100's of us--retired teachers willing to come to Wisconsin to reopen schools and teach until current crisis is past. Just let us know...send out an appeal and we'll be there. Request protection, retired law officers will come, also.

Collective Bargaining - Truth?

How can t be collective bargainng when the one footing the bill isn't sitting at the negotiation table. THE TAXPAYER. That is like the unions sitting there, the employee sitting there and the owner not allowed to sit in on the negotiation.

Balanced Budget

Thank you for trying to get the budget balanced and for trying to get management back into the public employee system. I'm astonished at the public worker demonstrators who seem to truly believe they are entitled to their $'s, benefits & work rules.

ABC News reports that the average public sector worker makes $47K and 80% have defined benefit pensions while the average private sector worker makes $45K and only 20% have pensions. Please do not back down from the unions. We need fiscal discipline.

Stop Kicking The Can, Please

As a teacher, I'd rather have a job with lower benefits than not have a job at all. As a taxpayer, I'd like to be able to meet commitments to employees without going bankrupt. Legislators "kicked the can to the future" on benefits. The future is now.

CONGRATS!!!! Gov. Walker!!! I don't know where these so called polls are coming from. They must only call gov't. employee houses (you have enough of them), everyone I talk to from WI in the private sector love what you are doing and so do I.

I am a union member. I have received union mailing upon mailing upon mailing for Democrat candidates. I felt hopeless as I believe the Dems are destroying our economy and misusing our dues. Your effort gives me hope.

Budget Repair Bill

I would like to see the budget repair bill get going. Can you please bypass the corrupt union circus and pass the bill again before the time of the recall elections? No doubt, there is widespread voter fraud being developed by the corrupt goons.

Undermining Collective Bargaining

I support your right for true collective bargaining. But, when you insist that every public worker must join the union and you require mandatory dues that you use to "help" favorite legislators, you're going too far and I can't support that.

Walking Off Job

you all should be FIRED and replaced asap. If that was me running/hidding/walk-off the job, i would have no job to come back to. If you all are so scared to vote on a bill or whatever get out of office and let someone else have it.

public employees have no right or need of unions They work for the whole of the people as FDR said as such they have no right to organize or strike against the people Further they are protected by civil service laws. bust public unions
