Miss You

I was back in Chapel Hill a few weeks ago and despite how much has changed, it felt like coming home. Thanks for some of the best years of my life!

Deeply Flawed

The DTH editorial summed it up well. (You know, there are plenty of students around here -- you COULD have tested this out, first.)

Tuition Increase

A 6.5% tuition increase is going to negatively affect so many students. Please find other solutions - one idea is to stop allowing out-of-state athletes to only pay in-state tuition. That has never been fair to the rest of the students.

Duke!

Smith and Curry, both got in a hurry. Swishing in balls, breaking down walls. Tarheels choked, while Crazies made jokes. Gotta love those tents, not chancellors who vent! Duke continues to lead the ACC, a place we always love to be!!!

UNC Athletics

Are integrity and honor valued today in our society and school system? It's a shame that UNC is involved in a scandal. We live in a permissive society where anything goes.This type of behavior should not be accepted. Show me character & backbone!

Graduation

Why do UNC and Duke always graduate the same weekend? It makes the experience of spending time with your family much more stressful when you can't find a hotel even 6months in advance!

UNC Administration

Time's a wastin'! Please clear the players who didn't cheat ASAP. The University should field its best team, and the student-athletes who did nothing wrong deserve to play every game!

An Alum's Perspective

Carl Snavely and Choo-Choo Justice - that dates me, but that was good football. I am disgusted with the present coach and athletic director and the players who want to jump to the NFL and grab the money. Concern for ethics and morals has vanished.

UNC Tutor

Ms. Wiley declines to be interviewed because she doesn't want to further hurt these young players she cares so much about. It's a little late for that now!

Change The Plan To Suit The Players?

We admire you a lot -- your ethics, 2 titles, etc. But last year it seemed that the players just could not run your game plan (not like Raymond and Ty, for example). When do you abandon that plan and use one the current group CAN run?

School Colors

Stick to Carolina blue. Why are you adding navy (or sometimes even Duke blue) into your Carolina blue and white color scheme? Tradition counts!

NC State Game

OK - defense and special teams. When I got home from the game I saw the tape. When you watch it, it will become clear that NSCU didn't beat you on their last 2 TDs. You beat yourselves by not playing smart.

Tarheels Bowl Win

Congratulations on your bowl win and a 8-5 season! A great job given all the distractions, sanctions, injuries, etc. Maybe next year will bring more players who want to play and win rather than focusing on their own selfishness and egos!

Media Law Suit

Do the right thing Tar Heels. You have a responsiblility to the public to share documents critical to the investigation. I guess you have a good attorney. Oh yeah, you have a Law School.

Wilson Record Sale For Vinyl Lovers

What a great way to spend an hour hunting for lost treasures at the library record sale. Anytime I hear oldies playing my toes tap and head bobs. It's definitely a mood enhancer and a welcome diversion from studying and life. Replay!

I am so glad I was able to be at UNC when we went to the Final Four and then won the Championship the next year.

Free Films

I really appreciate what CUAB does with the free films. I think they are a huge asset to the Carolina community.
